Is My Buddies free or premium?
My Buddies is a Premium feature. You need an active subscription to add buddies, send requests, and access your buddy list. Guest Players, however, are free for everyone.
What are Guest Players?
Guest Players let you include non-registered golfers in your rounds without them needing an app account. Enter their name and optional handicap, and they appear on the scorecard like any player. You enter their scores for them.
Can guests participate in side games?
Yes. Guests can fully participate in all side games — Nassau, Skins, Match Play, Wolf, and more. Their handicap is used for NET scoring calculations just like registered players.
What roles can buddies have in a round?
When you invite a buddy to a round, you assign them a role: Player (plays and enters scores), Spectator (watches live scores without playing), or Scorekeeper (can enter scores for all players in the group).
What can I see on a buddy's profile?
You can view their handicap index, home course, online/offline status, recent rounds, average score, best round, rounds this month, and courses played. Buddy profiles also show rounds you've played together.
What privacy controls are available?
You can set your profile visibility to public, friends-only, or private. Online/offline status indicators can be seen by your buddies when you're active in the app.
Can I convert a guest into a registered buddy?
Yes. From the My Guests page, you can send an email invitation to any guest. When they sign up, they can claim their previous round data and become a full buddy connection.
Are Guest Players reusable across rounds?
Guests are created per round. If you play with the same person again, you add them as a guest again. You can view all your past guests on the My Guests page, edit their info, or invite them to create an account.
