3D Flip Animations

Player cards do a vertical flip with cascading timing when new scores arrive — leader first, then 2nd place 150ms later, creating a dramatic reveal.

Color-Coded Scores

Yellow for eagle, green for birdie, gray for par, and progressively deeper red for bogey and worse. Read the leaderboard at a glance.

Hole-Out Highlights

When a player records a chip-in, bunker save, or hole-in-one, spectators see the shot type and distance — "Holed: Chip · 23 yds."

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I watch a friend's round live?

When a buddy shares their round with you, you can view it in real-time from the shared rounds section. The spectator view updates automatically as scores are entered — no need to refresh.

What are the 3D flip animations?

When new scores come in, each player's card does a vertical flip animation with cascading timing — the leader flips first, then 2nd place 150ms later, then 3rd, and so on. It creates a dramatic reveal effect as the leaderboard updates.

What do the score colors mean?

Scores are color-coded by golf convention: yellow for eagle or better, green for birdie, gray for par, and progressively deeper red for bogey through triple bogey and worse. This lets you read the leaderboard at a glance.

Can I see who else is watching?

Yes. The spectator view shows how many people are watching and who is currently live. Active watchers get a green ring around their avatar with a pulse animation. The spectator drawer shows full details of who's watching.

Does the view auto-navigate to the current hole?

Yes. The spectator view automatically jumps to the most recently updated hole based on score timestamps, so you always see the latest action without scrolling.

Is Spectator View free or premium?

Spectator View requires a Premium subscription to access the live scoring page. Premium members can view any shared round in real-time.

Does it show hole-out details?

Yes. When a player records a hole-out (chip-in, bunker save, hole-in-one, etc.), the spectator view displays the shot type and distance inline — like "Holed: Chip · 23 yds" — so spectators see the highlight moments.
