SNAKE
The Three-Putt Penalty Game
🎯Objective
Don't be holding the Snake when the round ends! Every three-putt transfers the Snake to that player. The last person holding it pays everyone else.
The Rule is Simple
🐍 Three-putt = You get the Snake
📋How It Works
First Three-Putt
The first player to three-putt gets the Snake. They hold it until someone else three-putts.
Snake Transfers
Every subsequent three-putt transfers the Snake to that player. It can change hands many times!
End of Round
After hole 18, whoever is holding the Snake loses and pays the bet to each other player.
📝Example Round ($10 Snake)
Settlement (4 players, $10 bet):
John pays $10 to each of 3 players = $30 loss
Chad, Mike, and Dave each receive $10
⚠️Multiple Three-Putts on Same Hole
If two or more players three-putt the same hole, the last player to hole out gets the Snake.
The app will show a modal asking “Who holed out last?” when this happens. Select the correct player to transfer the Snake.
📱During Your Round
Snake Indicator
The 🐍 emoji appears next to the player who currently holds the Snake in the scorecard.

🧠Strategy Tips
Lag Putting is Key
Focus on distance control from 30+ feet. Getting close avoids three-putts.
Don't Be Aggressive
Running a birdie putt 6 feet by can lead to a three-putt. Pace is everything.
Stay Focused on 18
A three-putt on the last hole is devastating. Take your time!
Anyone Can Win
Even great players three-putt. The pressure makes everyone nervous!
